Barbara Bonafini
Lawyer, admitted to
represent clients before the Italian Supreme Court and other higher courts, she
has acquired particular experience in International Trade Law, Customs Law and
International Contract Law; she also deals with Legal Consultancy relating to
European Union funding programmes, and Wine Law. She has collaborated with the
European Public Law Organisation and with the European Commission within the
framework of the Europeaid-Alfa Dikia II Cooperation Programme, in the field of
the Rule of law and fundamental human rights. She holds a (MA) Master's degree
in Droits de l'Homme, with a specialization in Droits de l'Homme en Europe,
from the Université Robert Schuman in Strasbourg. Among her most recent
training activities she attended the Course on WTO and EU Trade Law organized
by the ERA-Academy of European Law in Trier. She also attended the two-year UIA
(Union Internationale des Avocats) School of Specialisation in International
Trade Law, as well as the two-year Advanced Training and Specialisation School
for Tax Lawyers UNCAT (Unione Nazionale Camere Avvocati Tributaristi) and the
Master in EU Project Management at Venice International University. She is a
lecturer at the Master in International Trade Law of the ITCILO (International
Training Centre of the ILO-International Labor Organization), as well as author
and co-author of publications on international law and human rights. Since 2017
she has acted as coordinator of the Human Rights Commission of the Verona Bar
Association. She is a member of the UIA - Union Internationale des Avocats
and of the Camera degli avvocati tributaristi della Provincia di Verona.
